When you arrive with an intended company name or a brand name at VNA Partners, the following trade mark application procedure will generally follow:

  • Submit your query

    • Consultation
    • Search for prior trade marks [Click to know more]
    • Legal Advisory and explanation of the trade mark application procedure
    • Filing a trade mark application

  • Examination of Application

    • Issues an Office Action by the Trade Mark Registry
    • Replying to the Office Action [Click to know more]
  • Hearings, if any

    • A hearing may be scheduled by the Examiner for further clarification to objections raised in the Examination Report
    • Attending scheduled hearings
  • Publication of Application

    • Upon acceptance of the application, the same is published and is open to opposition proceedings [Click to know more]
  • Registration

    • In case there is no opposition, the application proceeds to registration
