Avadhi has over seven years of experience advising stakeholders across the media and entertainment industry.
She has served as Managing Partner at VNA Partners since 2021, leading the firm’s media, entertainment, and IP practice and advising domestic and international clients on rights protection, contract strategy, and brand-facing intellectual property.
She has acted as Legal Consultant to Sony Pictures Entertainment through ANM Global, where she handled music and content licensing and advised on international content distribution. Her role involved drafting and negotiating licensing and distribution agreements and working closely with broadcasters, production houses, music labels, and global content platforms.
Earlier in her career, Avadhi worked with leading firms and production houses including ANM Global, PSL Advocates & Solicitors, and Balaji Telefilms Ltd. Her experience includes advising OTT platforms on regulatory compliance, conducting legal script reviews for films and web series, managing content acquisition and licensing, and structuring agreements across production, talent, music, and distribution.
